About Me
I'm Samuel, a graphic designer and visual director. I've worked in graphic design since 2016, and in-house at Builderall since 2021, leading visual direction for global product launches. This page is the trajectory that brought me here.

I started drawing professionally at 14, in 2014. I sold illustrations to large YouTube channels in the Minecraft niche, some with over a million subscribers. I was handling briefs, deadlines, and client revisions before I had any formal training. The vocation wasn't discovered. It was negotiated.

Between 2016 and 2018, I worked with small local businesses on visual identity and print materials. This was the period where I learned the craft in practice: production, briefing, deadline, client. Fundamentals that still sustain everything I do today.

In 2017, at Santana Malharia, I designed logos and textile prints (silkscreen). Working under tight technical constraints, limited color count, screen separation, adaptation across different fabrics. Visual discipline under production constraints is where you learn to make real decisions.

In 2018, I interned in website layout and template design. First professional contact with responsive design, digital hierarchy, and interface construction, territory that would become central to my career.

College: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design Technology at Univem, focused on solving communication problems across print and digital media. The program developed the systemic thinking I apply today to brand direction.

Creative internship at Tata Comunicação. I developed campaigns, visual identities, and social media design, with hands-on involvement in paid media and account work. First direct exposure to the agency machine, pace, simultaneous briefs, real clients.

College: Second degree, in Advertising Production, focused on marketing, audiovisual, and high-impact campaign creation. Courses taught by professionals active in the market, current frame of reference, not academic theory.

Two years as a social media designer at Mustache agency. I served multiple clients simultaneously, each with their own visual identity and tone of voice. This was the period that refined my ability to operate within other brands' rules without mixing them, a fundamental skill for any future art direction work.

Graphic Designer at Builderall, a global digital marketing platform. I lead visual direction for international product launches, including Builderall 7 (Supercharge) and Builderall 8 (Beyond), including the icon system still in use on the platform today.

Today I work between corporate visual direction and authorial projects (Climatinha, SAMU CLIMA). The portfolio you're navigating is, simultaneously, a demonstration and a thesis: the same skill of building and sustaining coherent visual systems, applied at different scales.
