To me, visual direction is a systematic process — not single-piece work. The brands I lead need to function after I'm no longer on the project.
Every visual choice answers a specific problem, and the problem comes before the form. If I can't defend a decision in one sentence, it isn't ready yet.
A good identity is the one that keeps working after the designer leaves. Applicable by others, scalable to unforeseen formats, defensible in a room without me in it.
I don't have a visual signature — I have a way of thinking. That's why this portfolio covers distinct territories (corporate, authorial, illustration, personal brand) while sustaining argumentative coherence, not aesthetic coherence.
The previous case studies are the application of these three principles at different scales.
